This position is located in Motor Carrier Services/ Enquiry & Evolution Unit, Headquarters, Blythewood, SC.Responsibilities of the Inferior Business Analyst
- Serve as an liaison to MCS Research and Development, vendors, end users, and IT staff for implementation of changes/additions to assigned MCS system(south), to ensure the system(due south) meets business need requirements; identifies system upshot(s) and enlists business unit support to define, validate, and document requirements for system fixes. Ensures that system changes comply with SC laws and requirements of programs administered through MCS. Conducts research of MCS policies and procedures, MCS system(due south) functionalities, and IRP/IFTA program requirements for policy, procedure, and system improvements/fixes.
- Serves as an liaison to the MCS R&D Manager and Business organization Analyst with independent testing support by executing test plans related to expertise area for both organisation test and regression test levels. Works with the MCS R&D Manager, business users, and business organisation annotator to assist in developing testing activities.
- Assists MCS R&D and staff in the evolution of SCDMV policies, forms and business processes, training tools, and training, based on SCDMV established standards, new or amended laws and regulations and best practices.
- The Junior Business Analyst provides assistance in the institution of new programs or the modification of existing programs for assigned business unit of measurement(s). Conducts surveys and researches bug/needs of the business unit(s) and assist with creating useful strategies and techniques that will help to strengthen program areas.
- Provides support and maintains up-to-date noesis of assigned program surface area(s); reviews, evaluates and reports on assigned program surface area. Reports to the MCS Research and Evolution Director and is capable of working independently with limited supervision.
